India, April 10 -- Aluminium prices rose nearly 0.23% to Rs 355.60 per kg in futures trade on Friday, as speculators created fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for May delivery increased by 80 paise, or 0.23%, to Rs 355.60 per kg, with a trading volume of 524 lots.
Analysts said the uptick was driven by fresh buying activity, supported by demand from consuming industries, which lifted prices in the futures market.
