India, Feb. 1 -- Aluminium futures declined on Sunday, slipping Rs 2.85 to Rs 310.95 per kg, as traders reduced positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February delivery contract eased 0.58%, with trading volumes of 1,875 lots, reflecting cautious participation.

Analysts attributed the decline to position trimming and subdued demand from consuming industries, which weighed on overall aluminium prices.
