India, May 4 -- Aluminium prices inched up on Monday, with futures rising nearly 0.15 per cent to Rs 369.75 per kg as traders built fresh positions amid a positive spot market trend.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for June delivery gained 55 paise, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 369.75 per kg, with a turnover of 19 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise to renewed buying interest driven by demand from consuming industries, which supported prices in the futures market.
