India, Jan. 9 -- Aluminium prices advanced in futures trade on Friday, rising nearly 1.22 per cent to Rs 314.80 per kg, as traders built fresh positions supported by a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, aluminium contracts for February delivery gained Rs 3.80, or 1.22 per cent, to trade at Rs 314.80 per kg, with a turnover of 1,443 lots.
