India, Feb. 4 -- Aluminium prices advanced in futures trade on Wednesday, rising nearly 0.63 percent as traders built fresh positions, supported by a positive trend in the spot market and steady demand from consuming industries.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd, aluminium contracts for March delivery gained Rs 2 to trade at Rs 320.55 per kg, registering an increase of 0.63 percent, with a turnover of 41 lots.

Analysts said renewed buying interest and improved industrial demand helped lift aluminium prices in the futures market.
