Pakistan, March 20 -- Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly and former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif Tuesday lamented that he as well as other family members were not being allowed to meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at the Kot Lakhpat Jail.

"Despite repeated requests, I was barred from inquiring after Mian Sahib today too," he said in a tweet. "My family and I used to meet Nawaz Sharif two to three times in a week so that we stay aware of his medical condition but now our meetings with him have been reduced to Thursdays only," he said. Slamming the government, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president said, "Depriving a mother, sister, brother and daughter of this right is utter injustice."
