Dar es Salaam, Nov. 28 -- The Ugandan Parliament is scheduled to pass the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (Special Provisions) bill, 2021 on Tuesday (November 30) to allow the development and implementation of the much awaited--regional project.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Dr Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu revealed during the Tanzania-Uganda Business Forum held at the Dar es Salaam-based State House on Sunday that “after the bill is signed-off we will see a lot of activities.”

The two Presidents, Tanzanias Samia Suluhu Hassan and Ugandas Yoweri Museveni attended the forum.
