Srilanka, July 8 -- Three suspects linked to a series of murders and kidnappings are being detained and questioned for 72 hours under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA), based on information revealed by Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, alias Pillayan.
One of the suspects, reportedly a close associate of Pillayan and wanted for multiple crimes including murder, was arrested on July 7 in Kalmunai by the Criminal Investigation Department's (CID) Homicide and Organized Crime Investigation Unit.
