Sri Lanka, Sept. 11 -- The experienced all rounder Chamari Athapatthu will captain the Sri Lanka women's team for the forthcoming ICC women's world cup which is scheduled to played in India and Sri Lanka from September 30th to November 2nd.

Sri Lanka women's selection committee headed by Hemantha Devapriya has selected 15 member squad and recalled experienced left arm medium fast bowler Udeshika Probodhani to strength the fast bowling attack with Malki Madara and Achini Kulasooriya. .Udeshika the 39 year old fast bowler who played her last International T-20 game last October 2024 was out of the team due to injury and she was once again back to the rhythm during the recent domestic tournament which paved the way to back to the squad .Ude...
