Sri Lanka, March 15 -- Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) MP Mohamed Salih Naleem resigned from Parliament yesterday (14).

The SLMC MP handed over his resignation letter to Secretary General Kushani Rohanadeera. Naleem was appointed as an MP from the SLMC National List in the 2024 Parliamentary Election and was earlier the Chairman of the Eravur Urban Council.

MP Mohamed Salih Naleem has resigned to run for the 2025 Local Government election from the Eravur Urban Council.
