Sri Lanka, Jan. 13 -- Providing further relief to struggling Micro, Small- and Medium-Scale Entrepreneurs (MSMEs), the Government yesterday announced that credit guarantee services will be implemented through the National Credit Guarantee Institution (NCGI) for entrepreneurs who are unable to meet collateral requirements when obtaining loans.

In addition, all MSME-focused credit facilities will be streamlined and administered through a single department under the Finance, Planning and Economic Development Ministry.
