Srilanka, March 27 -- Sabaragamuwa Province Governor Champa Janaki Rajaratne directed that the construction of 'City Park' in the Ratnapura New Town at a cost of Rs. 100 million should be completed promptly and in accordance with proper standards.

The Sabaragamuwa Provincial Governor stated this while inspecting the construction of the City Park on Tuesday (25).

The construction work is being carried out by the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council, while the planning and supervision services are being carried out jointly by the Urban Development Authority (UDA) and the Provincial Engineering Service.
