Sri Lanka, Sept. 11 -- Princess of Wales College Moratuwa dominated the second annual Battle of the Golden Queens cricket encounter when they beat Yasodara Balika Vidyalaya Colombo by 147 runs to retain the trophy in their big match played recently at P. Sara Oval cricket stadium.
Princess of Wales College coached by Neel Rajapaksa made a challenging total of 257 for 6 wickets in 40 overs while Nehmi Fernando (unbeaten 71 in 67 balls) and run-a-ball 64 hit by Sanalka Senanayake were leading the way to build up the innings. Skipper Vishmi Soyza (33) and Umayanagana Preris (29) also made useful contribution for the Princess of Wales.
