Sri Lanka, July 29 -- The Professionals of the National Front (PNF) an organization aligned to the Organization of Professional Associations said that the Millennium Challenge Corporation was formulated to irk Chinese interests in Sri Lanka.
They felt that the Agreement would notbe in the interests of the country and called on the government to cancel it inline with the findings of the Dr Gunaruwan committee. The PNF expressed these views at the Organization of Professional Associations on July 27.The PNF highlighted the fact that they are not opposed to collaboration with foreign parties.
