Srilanka, May 13 -- A discussion was held under the patronage of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation Minister Bimal Ratnayake recently regarding the potential impact on Sri Lanka's ports and airports due to the tense situation between India and Pakistan and the future global political situations.
Due to the Indo-Pakistan crisis, there are requests for additional ships to arrive at the Colombo Port, and the ability and proposals to ensure that they operate efficiently and without disrupting current operations were also discussed.
