Srilanka, May 1 -- Matara District Returning Officer/District Secretary Chandana Thilakaratne stated that the Matara District Election Dispute Resolution Centre had received 301 election complaints regarding the 2025 Local Government Elections as of 4 p.m. on April 29 and that investigations were being conducted in this regard.
Accordingly, complaints have been received regarding violations of election laws such as the display of illegal advertisements, cutouts, banners and posters.
