Sri Lanka, July 19 -- The Colombo High Court has scheduled October 28 as the date for further hearings in the corruption case filed against former Minister of Mass Media, Keheliya Rambukwella, and three other defendants. The case alleges the misuse of nearly one million rupees from the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation for political activities during his tenure in 2014.

The case was heard yesterday (18) before High Court Judge Lanka Jayaratne. Since the case had been previously heard before a different judge, both the prosecution and defense agreed to proceed with the previously recorded evidence.
