Sri Lanka, Oct. 23 -- Sri Lanka's national rugby sevens outfit secured third place with Hong Kong winning the Asia Rugby Sevens. Japan secured the second place. It was nice to see that with eight players hailing from Kandy SC, the team's composition clearly reflects the club's unmatched contribution to Sri Lankan rugby. The 13-member squad, was led by Kandy SC's Kavindu Perera, one of the most dynamic and disciplined sevens players in the country. His leadership and experience at both club and national level have made him a good choice.
