Sri Lanka, Nov. 22 -- The Ministry of Health has introduced price controls on 350 types of medicines, marking a significant step in regulating the country's pharmaceutical sector and making essential medicines more affordable for consumers, Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said. The move is expected to substantially reduce the cost of several key medicines in the local market.
