Srilanka, May 29 -- Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa emphasized yesterday that the Government holds a responsibility to enrich the future of graduates who are educated through public funds, by ensuring they are given opportunities both within Sri Lanka and abroad.
Speaking at the official ceremony for the awarding of appointment letters to 85 graduates recruited for training in complementary paramedical practices, Minister Jayatissa said that the Government is not only committed to meeting the local demand for medical professionals, but is also actively engaged in discussions and planning efforts to deploy skilled health personnel internationally.
Of the 85 graduates recruited, 74 will train as radiology technicians...
