Sri Lanka, March 15 -- The Yukthiye Kedawuma organisation on Thursday urged the Government to take legal action against those responsible for the killings in the torture chambers at Batalanda after the Batalanda Commission report is tabled in Parliament.
According to Asanka Abeyratne of the Yukthiye Kedawuma organisation, the report has to be adopted in Parliament for the implementation of its recommendations. There was an impediment for the implementation of this commission report as it has not been tabled in Parliament.
