Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- The first-ever Sri Lankan restaurant in China has officially opened in Beijing, marking a significant milestone in promoting Sri Lankan cuisine and culture internationally.
The restaurant, named "Cinnara", was founded by veteran Sri Lankan entrepreneur Chiranjaya Udumullage, who resides in China. According to Chinese state media outlet CGTN, Cinnara aims to introduce the authentic flavors and food culture of Sri Lanka to Chinese diners and foster cultural exchange between the two countries.
