Srilanka, July 7 -- The daughter of Dr. Maheshi Wijeratne, a specialist attached to the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital who is currently in remand custody, has been arrested in connection with a serious threat made against officials of the Bribery Commission.

The incident, which occurred on July 4, involved the suspect allegedly threatening to kill two officers of the Bribery Commission. Authorities confirmed the arrest was made following an official complaint and subsequent investigation into the matter.
