Sri Lanka, June 20 -- The government has made all arrangements to bring back Sri Lankan expatriate workers in Israel if a special need arises due to the war situation, Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath said today.

He told Parliament that all airports in Israel have been shut down and steps will be taken to bring back Sri Lankans through bordering countries.

"We will bring them to bordering countries by land and will send flights to bring them back home," he said.

The Minister said this while responding to a question raised by SJB MP Rohana Bandara.
