Sri Lanka, July 11 -- Following the release of the 2024 (2025) G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination results, 2.34% of candidates failed all subjects, while 73.45% of students who sat for the exam qualified for the G.C.E. Advanced Level, Commissioner General of Examinations A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage announced today.
Addressing the media, she revealed that 2.34% of candidates failed all subjects, while a total of 13,392 students achieved outstanding results by securing 'A' passes in all nine subjects representing 4.15% of the total candidates.
Breaking down the results by province, the Southern Province recorded the highest overall pass rate at 75.64%, followed by the Western Province with 74.47%, and the Central Province with 73.9...
