Mumbai, Feb. 12 -- OPEC said in its latest monthly report that global economic growth forecasts remain unchanged from last month. The world economy is expected to expand by 3.1% in 2026 and 3.2% in 2027. The US growth outlook was revised slightly higher to 2.2% for 2026, while the 2027 forecast remains at 2%. Growth projections for the Eurozone and Japan stay modest at 1.2% and 0.9%, respectively, for both years. China's economy is seen growing by 4.5% in 2026 and 2027, while India is expected to lead major economies with growth of 6.6% in 2026 and 6.5% in 2027. Brazil and Russia are projected to grow at a moderate pace over the forecast period.
