Srinagar, Dec. 3 -- In a significant event, police in Kupwara successfully recovered an abducted woman and apprehended the accused from Rajasthan following a swift and diligent investigation into a kidnapping case reported earlier this month. On November 20, 2024, Police Post Bazaar received a written complaint from one Manzoor Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Hassan Mir Doniwari Lolab stating that on Nov 12, 2024, while he and his wife were at SDH Hospital, his wife was abducted by one Asif Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Hameed Bhat resident of Alchizebh Kupwara.
