Dhaka, March 16 -- A man facing multiple murder charges has been shot dead in Khulna, police said.
The incident occurred near Bagmara Bridge on Markazul Ulum Madrasa Road around 11:30pm on Saturday, according to Khulna Police Station chief Howladar Sanwar Hossain Masum.
The dead man was identified as 40-year-old Shahinul Haque Shahin, the son of Abdur Rashid from Daulatpur's Kartikkul area.
Shahin was accused in several murder cases, including the killing of Shahid, aka Huji, police said. He was locally known as "Boro Shahin".
