Dhaka, June 9 -- Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus is set to travel to the United Kingdom for a five-day state visit.
The head of the interim government and his entourage will fly out to London in an Emirates Airlines flight at 7:30pm on Monday, Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).
Acting Foreign Secretary Ruhul Alam Siddique had previously shared the trip's itinerary at a press briefing on Jun 4.
During the visit, Yunus will hold bilateral talks with British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, he said. UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, along with other senior ministers, political leaders, and influential figures from the policy and business communities are expected to meet the chief advisor....
