Dhaka, June 16 -- After Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has now introduced special discounted fares for migrant workers on four more Middle Eastern routes.

The special rates will apply only to one-way travel to the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, and Qatar, and will be valid until Dec 31, the national carrier said in a notice on Monday.

The discount scheme for remittance earners already in effect for the Saudi Arabia and Malaysia routes will also continue, according to Biman.

Initially, the one-way special fare for new workers on these two routes was valid from Feb 10 to Jun 30. However, Biman has now extended the duration of the offer.
