Dhaka, March 19 -- Education Advisor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar has called for a "just, scientific and technology-based" education system.

Speaking at the International Mother Language Institute on Wednesday, Abrar said everyone should rebuild the nation with "responsibility and compassion".

"We've now received an opportunity to think anew and build a just society where every citizen is equal," he said.

Mentioning that children and teenagers should be allowed to "fly unbound", he said: "So that they can develop themselves freely by applying their talents and abilities in their own way."
