Bangladesh, Sept. 4 -- Chittagong University will resume regular academic activities from Sunday following a clash between students and local residents.
The university administration issued a notice on Thursday stating that academic activities, including classes and exams, will return to the normal schedule from Sept 7.
It added that campus transportation will also return to the usual schedule.
Tensions had been running high on campus after a clash broke out between students and locals around midnight on Aug 30, sparked by a dispute between a female student living in a building adjacent to Gate No. 2 of the university and the building's security guard.
Another clash between the two sides occurred the next day.
