United Kingdom, Oct. 16 -- Samsung has reportedly cancelled development of the Galaxy S26 Edge, following disappointing sales of this year's Galaxy S25 Edge model.
According to a report from South Korea's Newspim, the Edge series has been quietly discontinued due to lower-than-expected sales, with Samsung informing employees that the project will not continue beyond the S25 generation.
While development of the S26 Edge was said to be complete, the company has reportedly opted to shelve the device, choosing instead to focus on its more traditional flagship lineup.
The supposed decision marks an abrupt end to the company's latest experimental smartphone line - just five months after its debut.
