United Kingdom, Aug. 14 -- Krafton has confirmed that PUBG: Battlegrounds will soon end support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In an official announcement, the developer said support for its battle royale will conclude on October 29, 2025, with the launch of Update 32.2.

After that date, the game will no longer be playable on last-gen consoles.

Krafton said: "We recognize that many of you have been with us since the early days, and making this decision was not easy.

"However, in order to continue delivering the best possible PUBG: Battlegrounds experience, we must focus our resources on platforms that can fully support our vision for the future."
