United Kingdom, Oct. 16 -- Google has released Veo 3.1, the latest version of its AI-powered video generation model.

The update was unveiled in a new post on Google's AI blog, five months after the company launched Flow, its Veo-powered video creation tool that has since generated over 275 million videos.

Google says Veo 3.1 brings "richer audio, more narrative control, and enhanced realism that captures true-to-life textures," representing a major step forward in AI video production.

Among the most notable upgrades is the addition of AI-generated sound across key features in Flow - including Ingredients to Video, Frames to Video, and Extend.
