India, Dec. 11 -- The price hike will be effective from the first week of January 2020.

Mercedes-Benz India has recently announced that it'll revise the ex-showroom prices of its entire model range, starting January 2020. Citing rising input costs as the reason behind the move, the prices are expected to go up by up to 3 per cent, which will vary depending on the model.

Sharing his thoughts on the decision, Mr Martin Schwenk, MD & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India said, 'We have been reviewing the various cost escalations, including the rise in the commodity and input costs that have been exerting pressure on our bottom line.
