New Delhi, April 16 -- The new-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire has made its way to the Philippines, with a mild-hybrid engine - a key upgrade over the non-hybrid version launched in India last November. While the design remains unchanged, the Philippine-spec Dzire lacks several convenience and safety features found in the Indian model. It is available in two variants and is priced between PHP 920,000 and PHP 998,000 (around Rs 13.87 lakh to Rs 15.04 lakh), significantly higher than the India-spec Dzire, which ranges from Rs 6.84 lakh to Rs 10.19 lakh. Specifically, the base model in the Philippines costs over Rs 7 lakh more, and the top-end variant is about Rs 4.5 lakh more expensive than its Indian counterpart.
