CANBERRA, ACT, Aug. 11 -- Australian Federal Police issued the following media release:
A West Australian woman is scheduled to appear in Bunbury Magistrates Court today (11 August, 2025) charged with the alleged online harassment of two Federal parliamentarians.
The AFP charged the woman, 51, after an investigation into the alleged harassment made via emails, social media, and an online submission form, to the electoral offices of the Federal parliamentarians.
The AFP traced the alleged behaviour to the woman's personal email account and executed a search warrant on 8 August, 2025, at a Withers home, where they reviewed and seized a mobile phone and personal documents.
