Australia, May 14 -- New South Wales Land and Environment Court issued text of the following judgement:
1. By application dated 12 June 2024 the Applicant, GXC, sought a Class 1AE security licence under the provisions of the Security Industry Act 1997 (the Act). His application was refused and that decision was affirmed on internal review. The Applicant now seeks review by this Tribunal.

2. The Act provides for the licensing and regulation of persons in the security industry and s 7 provides, amongst other things, that a person must not carry on "security activities", as defined in s 4 of the Act, without the appropriate security licence.
