Hyderabad, Aug. 23 -- The Cyberabad Police have apprehended a 14-year-old boy for the alleged murder of a 10-year-old girl, officials said on Saturday.
The boy is from a neighbouring house and allegedly killed the girl on August 18.
The boy, a Child in Conflict with Law (CCL), was apprehended after it was found that he had stabbed the victim multiple times when she caught him attempting to steal her brother's cricket bat, officials added.
Speaking to the reporters, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty said, "The body of a 10-year-old girl was found in her home by her parents.
