Fatehpur, Oct. 17 -- Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Friday, alleged that the family of the Dalit man, Hariom Valmiki, was "locked" in their house and threatened not to meet him.
However, a family member has denied Rahul Gandhi's allegations and said that the UP government has extended complete support to the family.
"We talked to Rahul Gandhi, and he assured us of all possible help. We told him that the government is supporting us and is taking the necessary steps. The administration has not stopped us from going out. We did not agree to meet Rahul Gandhi because we were getting all the help from the government," Hariom Valmiki's brother told reporters outside his house.
