Amritsar, March 23 -- Punjab Police have busted a drug cartel in Amritsar with cross-border links in Pakistan, arresting three of its members, including the kingpin, said the police. The police recovered 5.2 kg of heroin from them.
"Amritsar police have recovered 5.2 kg heroin. We have arrested three people. The kingpin, Mandeep Kaur, impersonated herself as a police officer and ran her drug network," Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar told ANI.
"She established her connections with numerous drug smugglers in Pakistan, and she was getting drugs pushed into our border with the help of drones. She was working with two other people in the Chheharta area... There is one more accused, but we are not exposing his name yet," h...
