Mumbai, April 29 -- The Maharashtra government announced a financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh for the families of the victims from the state who lost their lives in the recent Pahalgam terror attack. The announcement was made during a state cabinet meeting on Tuesday, where Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid a heartfelt tribute to the victims.

In addition to the financial support, the government will also focus on the education and employment needs of these families affected by the tragedy.
