Jamshedpur, Jan. 30 -- Jharkhand Police rescued Kairav Gandhi, son of Jamshedpur-based businessman Devang Gandhi, from the kidnappers, and three miscreants were injured in an encounter, Bistupur Police Station Officer Alok Dubey said on Friday.

Speaking to ANI, the police official said that Kairav Gandhi was kidnapped on January 13, and police managed to rescue him by January 27.

Police raided multiple districts in Bihar, during which the suspects snatched a cartridge and fired at police personnel. The police officials injured three miscreants, hailing from Nalanda and Gaya in Bihar, in a retaliatory fire.
