New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- A Special NIA judge on Monday transferred the case of Kashmiri separatist Aasiya Andrabi to the predecessor judge who had passed the original conviction. Andrabi is the alleged chief of the women's terror outfit Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DEM).
Special NIA judge Prashant Sharma transferred the matter and listed it before the predecessor judge Chanderjit Singh at Karkardooma Court on February 12. Singh had earlier served as a Special NIA judge at Patiala House Court.
Andrabi and two of her associates were convicted by the NIA court on January 14, 2026.
