New Delhi, March 8 -- President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday inaugurated a National Conference on the theme 'Nari Shakti Se Viksit Bharat' in New Delhi. She said that this day was to honour women's achievements, raise awareness of their rights, and dedicate ourselves to promoting gender equality.

The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development organised this conference to celebrate International Women's Day.
