Chandigarh, Oct. 16 -- In a significant step towards promoting responsible road behaviour among the younger generation, the Chandigarh Traffic Police has launched the Road Safety Club Campaign, an initiative aimed at nurturing responsible young citizens and transforming students into Road Safety Ambassadors.
Under this campaign, over 2,000 students from more than 100 schools across Chandigarh have already joined the movement. Through engaging workshops, awareness drives, and interactive activities, students are being sensitised about traffic discipline, pedestrian safety, and the importance of following road rules.
