Fremantle, Nov. 10 -- The Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Tarini, part of the historic Navika Sagar Parikrama II expedition, has arrived at Fremantle in Australia after completing a challenging 39-day non-stop voyage from Goa.
Flagged off on October 2, 2024, by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff, from Goa, the expedition is a part of the Indian Navy's continued efforts to promote gender equality and global maritime cooperation. During the 4900 nautical mile journey, the vessel crossed significant geographical milestones including the Equator and the Tropic of Capricorn.
