Guwahati, Oct. 25 -- 'Ansuni Chinkhe', a moving short film written and directed by Dr Parthasarathi Mahanta, who serves as the Chief of the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police and Guwahati Police Commissioner, has once again brought acclaim to Assam, clinching the Best Director Award of Jury at the 16th Chambal International Film Festival 2025.

The festival was held in Gwalior, where the honour was formally presented to Mahanta on October 14.
