Chittoor, June 18 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu spoke with Shireesha, a woman who was inhumanely tied to a tree in Narayanapuram village, and expressed his concern over the incident. He instructed officials to take strict action against those responsible.

In a post on X on Tuesday, the CM assured the government would stand by Shireesha's children and take responsibility for their education. During his conversation with Sirisha, CM Naidu announced financial assistance of Rs.5 lakh for her. He also promised to support the education of her three children.
